Should your personal like or dislike of someone's non-violent or harmful actions give you the right to steal, kill, or destroy them?

Yesterday while surfing the web I read across an article written under the Jewish journal .com and I realized then what a dangerous world we live in. This article talked about people all around the world calling out to the U.S. to help support gays and lesbians because they're getting treated badly over there. You have people getting slaughtered over in Nigeria, Iran and Yemen just because they like the same sex. At the bottom you'll see a picture of a boy named Jadin bell. He was 15 when he committed suicide due to bullying because he was gay. He wasn't doing anything to anyone and look where he's at now. My whole thing about this is that it shouldn't even be an issue to began with. If John wants to date Luke let john date Luke. If Lucy wants to date Kate, let her date Kate. Stop trying to control people's lives. Your personal like or dislike of someone's non-violent or harmful actions does not give you the right to steal, kill or destroy them. As Christians the bible says he without sin cast the first stone, meaning god and god alone has the right to judge someone else's sins. As a people we need to learn to agree to disagree because there are more important things that we need to be focused on right now like world hunger and diseases all around the world. This is what's wrong with society now because we're out here worrying about what everyone and their mom is doing instead of worrying about what we need to do in order to better ourselves as a nation.

  1. I like your voice. It's almost like I can hear you complaining about these rude people. That's a great writing skill. You've got some solid points here, and you are well on your way to being able to argue with conviction. G
